Sad but proud

Unusually for me this is a personal posting on my blog. My beautiful daughter has gone away on her gap year travels. She has gone with some friends and I know they will all look after one another. I am sure they will have an amazing time visiting Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and India. So I had a bit of an emotional weekend and to be honest have not really been able to concentrate on what I know I should be doing, but I'm sure I'll be forgiven. She has worked incredibly hard over the past few years and achieved top grades in ALL of her exams, I am immensely proud of her. I know she is going to 'pop in' from time to time when she can get to an internet cafe, so have an absolutely fantastic adventure girls and boys and stay safe. xxx

New blog size

I thought with all the snow restricting my movements I would take the time to have a little play around with my blog. You may have noticed already that I have increased the size of the blog and most importantly, the size of the images. I think it looks alot better. I hope you like it.

I hope to add 'my favourites' from 2008 over the next few days, plus the other boudoir shots I promised you.

New Year update - weddings and portraits

Well that busy time of year is upon us, wedding photographers that is. All of the romantic Christmas day proposals have turned thoughts to booking photographers for the forthcoming weddings. Congratulations to all those who have decided to 'tie the knot'. Enquiries are coming in, meetings are being held and the bookings are being confirmed. This year I have some new venues to look forward to, from the swish Fredricks hotel in Maidenhead, to the quaint village church in Swyncombe, Oxfordshire. If you have still to book your photographer for your wedding and wish to know availability you can either email or telephone, all of the details are on the website, just click the link on the right.

Of course I do not just photograph weddings. Below are some photographs I took just before Christmas of the lovely Joshua, all rugged up against the cold. It did not damped his mood though and he had a smashing time splashing in puddles and playing peek-a-boo in the woods. Spring believe it or not is just around the corner and before we know it the daffodils will be opening. So if you are thinking about some portraits of your children or the whole family a local park or woodland could be a perfect location.

Christmas wishes

I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a super Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Altough I am not 'closing' for the holiday period I will be very busy with clearing up admin and completing the lastest wedding album ready for the printers in the New Year.

I would like to thank everyone for their custom and support. And I would like to thank Tim for getting the revamped website up and running.

Sarah and Sam, I'm looking forward to the Boudoir shoot when the children go back to school, I'll have the wine on ice and the heating turned up.
